Beauty Edit: R+R Mask by Summer Fridays

This weekend, my sister and I took our mom to a ski resort to celebrate her birthday! We obviously indulged in lots of food, cocktails and outdoor activities all weekend. We had the best time, but between the winter cold, alcohol and not much sleep, my skin wasn’t too happy with me!

So after some much needed R+R on the slopes and at the resort, my skin needed the R+R mask from Summer Fridays!

The R+R mask is a face mask and face oil in one, and it’s exactly what my dull and dry skin needed after this weekend. The ingredients, including ground wild rose powder, which buffs away dead skin cells, and natural oils, including argan, sesame, avocado and grape seed oil (among others), left my skin feeling polished and it looked noticeably brighter. You can follow this mask with a moisturizer. I used my L’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream, and my skin felt good as new! I’m definitely going to add this to my skincare routine, and alternate between this and the Fresh Sugar Face Polish on the days I exfoliate.

Beauty Sleep

I’m sure many of you are like me, and you cherish your beauty sleep! Between having a full time career, family (including a very energetic 6 year old and a puppy), trying to make dinners & keep the house in order (my husband helps SO much and probably does even more than I do FYI!), and just all-around adulting…this mama is exhausted!

So when I find products or tools to not only help me sleep better, but help me wake up looking refreshed, they become a necessity in my nighttime routine. This Lip Sleeping Mask and Eye Mask are game changers!

The LANEIGE lip sleeping mask has saved my lips this winter. My lips always get so dry because of the cold during this time of year, but I’ve used this mask every night and my lips have been so soft and moisturized.

The Slip Silk Sleepmask not only helps me sleep by blocking any light, but it also helps keep your skin hydrated at night. I see a noticeable difference around my eyes in the morning when I wear this mask!

Make It A Jo Malone London Christmas!

Hi guys! Some of you may know that we got together with our girlfriends this past weekend to celebrate the holidays (and drank way too much Prosecco and made way too many music videos), but we had the absolute BEST time! We always do a gift exchange, and this year I was lucky enough to receive Kat’s gift, which was the most beautiful Jo Malone London gift set!!

I’m a sucker for beautiful packaging (my husband says I’m a marketer’s dream), and this gift set did not disappoint! The packaging makes this set a perfect stocking stuffer.

But the best part about this set are the products! I’m slightly embarrassed to say these are my first Jo Malone products ever (Monica swears by them and even has a signature scent!), but it definitely won’t be my last. I could smell these products all day and not get tired of the scents. The set comes with Red Roses Cologne (beautiful and pairs very well with other scents), English Oak & Redcurrant Body & Hand Wash (a masculine scent), and Lime Basil & Mandarin Body Cream (a fresh scent that I honestly need to lather on my body every single day).

This set is perfect for travel, too! I can’t wait to take it everywhere with me over the next few months, because we’ll be traveling non-stop.
