Blazers with Feminine Details

With a corporate environment, comes a closet that is filled with business attire. Blazers are an essential part of my wardrobe, but when I was just starting my career, I was under the impression that I had to wear the “typical” suit or blazer every day. That meant that the suit had to be either all black, blue or grey and, for lack of better terms, had to be simple and boring.

Looking back, I had it all wrong. I wasn’t dressing like myself, so ultimately I didn’t feel as confident as I could have felt. Now don’t get me wrong, there are days when I need to wear the “simple and boring” suit or blazer, but now they are more tailored than they were in my early 20s, so they are much more me! On the days when I can be a little more creative with my wardrobe, I love to wear blazers with feminine details.

Suit with Bow: This suit was from RueLala.com, and isn’t available now. But there are similar suits here.

A suit with embellishments, a certain cut, a great color or plaid pattern always catch my eye. The feminine details make these blazers great for work, but are also perfect transitional pieces for after work, or even on the weekend.

Check out some beautiful blazers with feminine details below!

Waist Emphasis Blazer: Here

This blazer just launched last week, and I immediately bought it. I can’t wait for it to arrive!

Peplum Blazer: Here

Red and peplum…it doesn’t get any better! If you’re not feeling the red, it comes in black for a more subtle statement. It’s also currently 30% off!

Belted Blazer: Here

I love the belt detail! I frequently throw a narrow black belt on many of my blazers to accentuate my waist. I love how this one is the same fabric as the blazer.

Tweed Blazer: Here

The tweed fabric and enlarged gold button detail on this blazer make it anything but boring!

Let us know if you have any go-to brands for blazers. I’d love to try out some new brands!
